Being a compact, self-contained resort a long way from the hedonistic nightlife of San Antonio, Cala Portinatx is very popular with families. The El Greco has its own waterpark, and there are two other water parks nearby meaning there is plenty to keep the kids entertained. A holiday to Cala Portinatx is fairly sleepy during the day but wakes up at night, with bars playing music and a variety of entertainment on offer. A cheap holiday to Cala Portinatx really does have has everything you need.

Ibiza, like the other Balearic Islands, has a Mediterranean climate, hot and dry summers and has very little rainfall in the summer months.  The temperature rises to over 30º C in August and September, although there’s usually a little breeze on the beaches.
