Es Cana : Holiday Accommodation

Only ten minutes drive from the bustling town of Santa Eulalia, the quieter Es Cana is a popular resort on the north east coast of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands. Tucked into pine woods beside the picturesque bay, the sleepy township is a beautiful beach holiday resort prized for its relaxed atmosphere, sparkling waters, and excellent seafood restaurants.

Formerly a traditional fishing village, Es Cana retains much of its original charm. The small harbour is dotted with enchanting whitewashed cottages evocative of an earlier time and is still visited by fishing boats hauling in their daily catch. A sweep of golden sand and calm, aquamarine water is a haven for swimmers, and the child friendly beach is kept safe by lifeguards. A short, scenic walk through one of several coastal trails will lead you from the resort to one of the more secluded neighbouring beaches.

Though offering a quieter nightlife than Ibiza Town to the south, a package holiday in Es Cana affords plenty of family friendly evening entertainment, including live music, karaoke and performances of traditional dancing. There are opportunities for shopping and souvenir hunting at the town's famous Hippy Market during the summer months. Welcoming and friendly bars are easy to find, and there are enough cafés and restaurants to meet everyone’s tastes, with choices including Spanish cuisine, seafood or high quality international fare
