El Arenal boasts a large sandy beach that stretches along 5km of coastline and is located near Palma, the capital of Majorca in the Balearic Islands. It lies at the East end of a long beach that starts at C'an Pastilla, continues through Playa de Palma and ends with El Arenal. The resorts are joined together by a wide promenade that runs the whole length of the beach and has very little traffic. There is also a mini train which runs up and down the promenade throughout the day.
The immaculate blue flag beach is renowned for its facilities, cleanliness, and water quality and it gently slopes into the sea, making it ideal for a family holiday.
