S'Algar : Holiday Accommodation

Situated nearby to the capital Mahon, S’Algar is an enchanting, peaceful resort of tree-lined streets that stretch down to the sleepy coast. There is no sandy beach to speak of but the rocky bathing area has a lovely organic feel and those sun-seekers who need the sand can make the short trip to the beautiful beaches of Binibeca and Punta Prima. What it lacks in sand it makes up for in sports facilities which are reputedly the best on the island. It is also one of the most looked-after resorts on Menorca with a team of cleaners and gardeners constantly working away.

In town you’ll find a clutch of shops, restaurants and bars but for more choice just grab a taxi or bus into Mahon where you’ll find restaurants and bars to cater for every budget and taste. Shopping is also supreme here with an extensive selection of chic boutiques and bustling markets where you can practice your bartering skills.

S’Algar is perfectly placed to enjoy the sites of south-east Menorca. Known as an open air museum, Menorca is dotted with awe-inspiring megalithic monuments, aristocratic buildings and historic structures. Whether you want to take in the sites or simply laze around in the sun, a package holiday to Menorca has something for everyone.
