Puerto Calero : Holiday Accommodation

Formed as an exclusive retreat just south of Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero has a lovely marina, and its aptly dubbed ‘Millionaires’ Harbour’ has been known to host boats and yachts worth more ten million Euros. During development, every area of the marina was landscaped, making it a great place to while away the hours, especially as the resort’s friendly ambience will make you feel right at home.

A Puerto Calero holiday offers some stunning views and the resort has one of the best harbours on the island of Lanzarote. Its fantastic geographical location in the Canary Islands makes Puerto Calero the ideal place for a sheltered marina. The neighbouring island of Fuerteventura and its mountain range also give protection from the wind and strong waves. A cheap holiday to Puerto Calero is a great destination for sea-lovers and is the perfect place for those who want to relax, enjoy stunning views and eat good food. Puerto Calero is not short on places to eat, with its main walkway along the harbour filled with restaurants, cafes and a few shops.

The marina is a great place to wander, look at the fabulous boats and generally soak up a bit of the luxury atmosphere that permeates the whole resort. For a bit of relaxed retail therapy, Puerto Calero’s charming boutiques and souvenir shops are generally more upmarket than in Lanzarote’s other resorts. For those wanting a bit more action, there is a selection of boat trips and marine activities available, including a couple of dive schools which operate out of the marina.
