Santa Ursula : Holiday Accommodation
On the north coast of Tenerife, Santa Ursula is at the edge of the valley of Orotava. The sun shines more often here than in Puerto de la Cruz, which is just down the coast, so there is plenty of opportunity to bask on the black sand beaches. The Orotava Valley is a short ride away from the resort and offers the visitor an attractive day out, as it has done for centuries. Verdant and fruitful, it is a beautiful place crammed with gullies and cliffs and filled with striking plant and bird life. The valley stretches from the coast up to Mount Tiede, for about 11 kilometres. Hikers can head into the forest and up into the higher reaches of the valley for some incredible views of the valley and enchanting forest paths.
