Coral Bay : Holiday Accommodation

Set on the west coast of Cyprus, a 20 minute bus drive away from historical Paphos, Coral Bay has the reputation of having the best beach in an area of outstanding beaches. The package holiday visitor can be guaranteed of getting a great tan and plenty of swimming in the warm sea. There’s a large horse-shoe shaped Blue Flag beach, flanked by cliffs, that offers very safe swimming for kids. The beach is obviously quieter in low season but even at peak times the visitor can walk a short distance and find a quiet place on the sand.

There are lots of water sports and family activities on offer, from parascending, inflatable rides and sunbeds and parasols for hire. Diving is a speciality around Coral Bay with some of the best there is to be had in the Mediterranean, especially around Maninji Island where the natural geography offers the diver cliffs, caves and coral to explore. Alternatively take a short trip to Cape Lara where you can share the beach with rare sea turtles who use the area as one of the last remaining nesting sites in this region.
