Things to do
A Cyprus holiday has long appealed to party seekers, and the club capital of Cyprus is arguably one of the most popular choices when it comes to Cyprus holidays - the cosmopolitan resort of Ayia Napa. If you’re looking to soak up the sun, enjoy a wide range of water sports, or simply shop for bargains before dancing the night away in some of the world’s most renowned nightclubs, this party resort is bursting with life, making for great last minute holidays to Cyprus.
For truly memorable family holidays to Cyprus, the lively resort town of Larnaca is just a short journey from Cyprus’ main international airport, and sits against a gorgeous backdrop of palm trees and tavernas. Enjoy a drink by the deep-water marina, or soak up some Cypriot tradition during the festival of Kataklysmos. Locals gather at the seafront to partake in sports, singing, dancing and merriment and there is also plenty for the children to do
Located just to the West of the island, the vibrant resort of Paphos is ideal for the sun seeking family who want to unwind on golden beaches, just a stone’s throw from attractions such as excavated roman villas, and lush countryside. All of it is just a short trip from the harbour and the sprawling, buzzing nightlife of central Paphos, but if this doesn’t appeal, anybody after a taste of Cypriot history would do well to try Nicosia. The ancient capital city is nestled inside ancient Venetian walls, and offers a first-class range of restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy traditional Cypriot cuisine and entertainment
