In a picturesque location on Ibiza's east coast, Es Cana is tucked into pine woods bordering a scenic bay. Lively by day and night, the resort boasts a small harbour and an expansive beach where you can unwind and join in a choice of watersports. There are more than sufficient shops, bars and restaurants, many of them providing late-night entertainment. Another attraction is the brilliant Wednesday market, famed for miles around. Held in the open air, this 'hippy' market as it's known is an extravaganza of open-air craft stalls. For a more peaceful atmosphere, a number of neighbouring beaches can be reached by taking the coastal paths leading from the resort. Santa Eulalia, Ibiza's second largest town, is four kilometres south and offers a happy holiday feel.
