Palma Nova is flanked by two sandy beaches. The seafront has a marina and adding to the fun is a supply of watersports plus a promenade of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. At night, the resort is home to partying in pubs, live music bars, discos and clubs, so some may prefer Palma Nova in the quieter months of April, May & June. Palma Nova is great for a beach holiday but if you fancy a change of beach, Magaluf is not too far away offering beach life and clear waters ideal for glass-bottom boat forays and watersports. Illetas is tucked between the Bay of Palma and steep hillsides. This rather stylish resort is perfect for relaxing. Mainly consisting of low-rise buildings in a dramatic cliffside setting with lovely seaviews, the shoreline here is dotted with little sandy coves. Elsewhere, you'll find an excellent selection of restaurants, as well as clusters of bars, shops and pavement cafes.
