Balearic Islands - Porto Cristo holidays
introduction to Porto Cristo
The appealing little town of Porto Cristo, which incorporates Cala Mandia is a great place for a refreshing break. On Majorca's east coast, its main attraction is undoubtedly its beach. There is also a good selection of craft and gift shops where you can hunt for traditional Majorcan wares. Restaurants and cafes surround the harbour of Porto Cristo, serving delicious seafood treats. For a change of beach scenery, you will also find sandy coves and bays up and down the neighbouring shoreline. If you feel like sampling something different, the island's Caves of Drach are within easy travelling distance, as is the inland town of Mancor. Be prepared for some walking here as the resort is hilly and there are a number of steps throughout.
