Set near Majorca's eastern coast, midway between Cala Millor and Porto Cristo the small resort of S'Illot is perfect for families and couples wanting a relaxed holiday away from bigger, up-tempo resorts. Originally a traditional fishing village, the resort has grown and boasts a few shops, bars, restaurants and a glorious beach. The main attraction of S'Illot is the location to Sa Coma with its beach boasting bright blue waters that are shallow, warm and calm. Windsurfing, banana boats and pedalos are available and behind the sands, along with pleasant restaurants, bars and shops. Behind the beach at Sa Coma is a wide traffic free promenade that runs the full length of the resort towards s'Illot to the south and the smaller sheltered beach of Cala Moreya in the north.
