It was named after an infamous Puerto Rican pirate, Captain Roberto Cofresi - regarded by many as a Puerto Rican version of Robin Hood, due to his practise of sharing his bounty with the needy. What began as a small fishing village is now a stunning resort, with a divine golden sandy beach lapped by crystal clear waters.
