INTRODUCTION TO IXIA
This popular resort lies just 5 km from Rhodes Town and faces a long expanse of part-sand, part-pebble beach. There's a relaxed feel, with most people spending the day settled on the beach and experiencing the fine selection of watersports on offer. The main coastal road flanking the waterside is where most of Ixia's shops and tavernas are concentrated, and you'll find some excellent restaurants here too.
