Relaxing, tranquil and picturesque best describes this small resort surrounded by pine trees. Located about ten kilometres east of Albufeira and just three kilometres from Vilamoura, Praia da Falesia appeals to those after a resort with a more upmarket feel. It has one of the longest beaches on the Algarve stretching 4.5 kilometres along the coast and although there is not the greatest selection of shops to choose from, Vilamoura is close by. Evening entertainment is low-key, mainly focusing on a good meal in the local restaurants where you can savour traditional cooking.
