FLORIDA - CAR HIRE

To ensure that everyone has the freedom to explore and enjoy Florida, car hire is included in every holiday package. Our car hire partner is Alamo, the largest car rental company in Florida with a reputation for value for money and quality service.

Car Upgrades

We have allocated cars based on party size; please see the table below for details.

Conditions of hire

All drivers must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driving licence from their country of residence. An international driving permit is not acceptable. Drivers aged between 21-25 must pay a surcharge of $25 per day. Child seats are a legal requirement for children under 5, these are approx. $7 a day.

All surcharges are payable when the car is picked up. Parties over 12 people, including infants, will be provided with 2 vehicles appropriate to the party size

Car Upgrades

The size of the car allocated does not necessarily mean that the equivalent number of passengers and baggage can be carried with comfort. If you are looking for passenger comfort or extra luggage room you may wish to upgrade your vehicle. You could even make your holiday extra special by upgrading to a premium, luxury or convertible car. For upgrade prices and further details on the car types please call 0871 622 4468.

Insurance

It is compulsory to have adequate insurance protection to drive hire cars in Florida and as such we have got together with Alamo to offer two packages that you can pre-purchase in the UK, both will save you time in resort. Please see the table below for the protection checklist.

Alamo Fully Inclusive

This includes CDW, taxes and airport charges. £20 per car per day.

Alamo Gold Insurance

This includes CDW, taxes and airport charges, PLUS allows for an unlimited number of drivers and full tank of fuel. £23 per car per day.
