DUBAI SIGHTS
Beaches

Dubai's year-round sunshine makes it perfect for beach lovers, especially when you add the gorgeous golden sands around the city. Near the centre is Al Mamzar beach, a beautiful stretch equipped with playgrounds and picnic parks. In Jumeirah, a long sweep of satin sands is lapped by the gentle turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf. Many of Dubai's hotels are located here and boast their own private beaches and watersports facilities. In Ras Al Khaimah, you'll find glorious hotel beaches - private areas of white sands offering fabulous watersports.
Jumeirah Mosque

Jumeirah is one of the most beautiful mosques in the world, and a fine example of modern Islamic architecture. It's seen at its very best when floodlit after sundown, when the subtle lighting throws its artistry into relief. The mosque is one of the most visited and photographed sights in Dubai.
Hatta

Dating back between 20 and 30 centuries, the ancient mountain village of Hatta is one of the most ancient locations in Dubai. The heritage village is characterised by its fortified buildings, with about 30 houses fully restored to their old style. Constructed around an old settlement, it recreates a traditional mountain village set in a lush oasis.
