EXPERIENCE: Kenya Safari - Kenya Royal Safari

Day 1. UK - Mombasa - Nairobi.

Depart the UK on your overnight flight to Mombasa or Nairobi.

Day 2. Arrive Mombasa - Nairobi.

If you fly on the charter flight to Mombasa you will be met in Mombasa and transferred to the domestic flight to Nairobi where you will overnight at the Norfolk Hotel. If you fly on the scheduled flight to Nairobi, you will be transferred directly to the hotel. Optional excursions are available (payable locally). (B)

Day 3. Nairobi - Aberdare National Park.

After breakfast head for the Aberdare National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Continue to the Ark Lodge with overnight bag (main luggage will be stored for collection tomorrow). Afternoon at leisure and game watching from the balcony. Overnight in Ark Lodge or similar. (B,L,D) (180kms)

Day 4. Aberdare National Park - Samburu Game Reserve.

After breakfast depart for the Samburu Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Samburu Intrepids (where crocodiles can be seen being fed) or similar. (B,L,D) (250kms)

Day 5. Samburu Game Reserve.

Take an early morning game drive followed by lunch at the lodge. Then a late afternoon game drive before returning for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 6. Samburu Game Reserve - Mount Kenya.

Travel to the slopes of Mount Kenya in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to enjoy the various facilities of the Mount Kenya Safari Club. Dinner and an overnight stay at the Mount Kenya Safari Club or similar. (B,L,D) (180kms)

Day 7. Mount Kenya - Masai Mara.

After breakfast transfer to the Nanyuki air-strip for a flight by light aircraft to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Take a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Safari Club or similar. (B,L,D) (1.5 hr flight)

Day 8. Masai Mara.

Early morning game drive, back to lodge for breakfast. Late afternoon game drive. Return to lodge for dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 9. Masai Mara - Nairobi.

After breakfast return by light aircraft to Nairobi for your flight to Mombasa and your chosen beach hotel or connect with your return flight to the UK. (B) (1 hr flight)

Optional hotel stay Days 10-15 (or 10-22). Beach hotel. Day 16 (or 23). Mombasa - UK.
