Itinerary
Day 1. UK - Mombasa - Nairobi.
Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Mombasa or Nairobi.
Day 2. Arrive Nairobi.
If you fly on the charter flight to Mombasa you will be met at Mombasa airport and transferred to the domestic flight to Nairobi where you will overnight at the Jacaranda Hotel. If you fly on the scheduled flight to Nairobi you will be transferred directly to the hotel. NB. Your luggage will be stored for you whilst on safari - you should pack a soft bag to take on safari with you.
Day 3. Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve.
After breakfast head for the Samburu Game Reserve. Take a game drive after lunch with the chance to see Grevy's Zebra, giraffe and the blue-legged Somali Ostrich. Overnight in Samburu Lodge or similar. (B,L,D) (295kms).
Day 4. Samburu Game Reserve.
Early morning game drive, back to the lodge for breakfast. Morning at leisure. Evening game drive. Overnight at Samburu Lodge or similar. (B,L,D)
Day 5. Samburu Game Reserve - Aberdare National Park.
After an early breakfast head for the Aberdare National Park for lunch at the Outspan Hotel. Continue to the Treetops Lodge for an overnight stay. (B,L,D) (185kms)
Day 6. Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast travel to Lake Nakuru. Dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge. (B,L,D) (220kms)
Day 7. Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara.
Early breakfast then head for Masai Mara Game Reserve for lunch. Afternoon game drive with dinner and overnight at the Keekorok Lodge. (B,L,D) (236kms)
Day 8. Masai Mara.
Early morning game drive, back to lodge for breakfast. You may see the big five here (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino). Evening game drive. Return to lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 9. Masai Mara - Nairobi - Mombasa.
After breakfast return to Nairobi for your flight to Mombasa and your chosen beach hotel or connect with your return flight to the UK. (B,L) (266kms) NB. A safari club lounge will be available whilst waiting for flight connections.
