Goa is India’s richest province and offers the most luxury compared to anywhere else in India. Goa holidays offers great secluded sandy beaches, interesting flora and fauna plus world heritage architecture. Goa is separated into Central Goa, North Goa and South Goa which all provide a different holiday experience.

Head to Central Goa for some culture, scenery and vibrancy and located between the Zuari and Madovi Rivers. The main resort is Vainguinim Beach with water sports and a diving centre on offer. For those looking for a quieter holiday head to Panaji’s city centre with spectacular views plus the spice plantations and temples surrounding the city. The Island of Divar is a popular choice and is a famous site of Hindu pilgrimage, and host to a number of significant temples ruins.

There are more water sports and beaches in North Goa, but the shopping experience is not one to be missed. The streets are lined with local shops, bazaars and local restaurants and a day strolling through the city is guaranteed to ignite all of your senses. Baga is the choice for a relaxing holiday and Cangalute is known for its beach, which is the largest in North Goa.

South Goa is ideal for travellers that want to enjoy all that Goa holidays have to offer, without having to worry too much about partying. With a number of fantastic beaches to explore, as well as the town of Madgaon, also referred to as Margao. There is also the Konkan Railway which connects this southern gem with Indian metropolises, should you feel inclined to experience some Indian city life.

The climate in Goa is also what makes it a popular and growing holiday choice, with temperatures more or less averaging 30°C throughout the year making it a perfect winter sun destination. The peak season is between November and April which offers very little rain – between June and September is their rainy season which is a very wet time of year
