There are a number of notable sites to explore on your holiday. These include Tiracol Fort, the Chapel of St Anthony, the Church of St Alex and Chapel of Saint Lawrence. For those wanting to further explore the region, Fort Auguada is an essential destination, as well as the two biggest flea markets, Anjuna and Mapusa Friday Market.

One of the best things to do with children while in North Goa is to go on the Jungle Book tour. You will ride on, and help wash, elephants, raft down a river, spend a night in the jungle in a hut and visit a plantation and temple. It’s a great way to spend two days of you Goa holiday and should definitely not be missed by travelling families.
 

Weather
North Goa has a hot climate with average temperatures above 29°C throughout the year. Rainy season is severe in the region and tourist numbers generally die down between May and October. The weather is perfect for those who want to escape the cold UK winter during the festive season as sunshine and water sports are at the order of the day on every cheap North Goa holiday.
