With a good selection of excursions available on a Kontokali holiday, it couldn’t be easier to keep busy. One of the activities which should be at the top of the list includes a boat trip around the island. The boat trips depart from a small pier on Gouvia Beach and by day or night, a cruise around Corfu aboard one of these tours is highly recommended. Aqualand offers a fantastic day out for the whole family. The park offers numerous activities and from swimming in the pool to enjoying the water slides, it provides entertainment to suit every visitor’s needs. There are also a number of restaurants at the Aquapark, and from burgers to traditional Greek dishes, every culinary delight imaginable is on offer.

The Corfu holiday season starts in May and for the first two weeks visitors can look forward to quiet tavernas, restaurants and deserted beaches, but as soon as the temperature increases, the crowds begin to arrive. From June to September the average temperature is between 27°C and 30°C. Although there will be hot days, the cool afternoon ocean breeze is fantastic at cooling the resort down.
