Nidri : Holiday Accommodation

Once the playground of billionaire Aristotle Onassis, the Nidri area of Lefkas remained exclusive and undeveloped until his death. Since then, it has grown into the island’s biggest and liveliest resort, with many bustling bars and tavernas lining the seafront. Named after the shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, Nidri’s seafront is called Akti Aristoteli Onasi, and his statue which looks out to his island of Skorpios dominates the scenery. With its stunning setting at the mouth of the long and impressive inlet of Vlycho bay, a holiday to Nidri is popular with the sailing fraternity.

From its cafes, bars and two nightclubs, to its range of tourist shops and chic boutiques, a Nidri holiday has everything you could ever want for a great seaside break. Along the seafront there is a wide variety restaurants serving Greek, Italian and international cuisine, as well as a good selection of boat excursions and plenty of water sports. The pleasant, tree-lined beaches offer crystal clear water and spectacular views of the many surrounding islands, one of which is Skorpios, privately owned by the Onassis family.
