1
UK-Arusha
Overnight flight to Kilimanjaro International airport, Tanzania

2
Arusha - Tarangire
You will be met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International airport. From here, you will head to the Tarangire National Park (160kms - 3hrs approx). This lesser-known park will give you a taste of untouched and wild Africa, featuring plains and swampland, bound by the Tarangire River. A highlight is the enormous herds of elephant that congregate along the river. During your afternoon game drive you may see migrating wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, and gazelle, not to mention two of the world's most unusual birds - the Kori bustard, the heaviest flying bird, and the stocking-thighed ostrich, the world's largest. One of the characteristics that sticks in your mind after a visit to Tarangire are the baobab trees. Stay overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Ngorongoro
After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive and return to the lodge. After lunch drive to your lodge located close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (150kms - Approx 2 hours). Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House.

Serengeti
After an early breakfast travel onward to the world famous Serengeti National Park (230kms - approx 4 hours). Enjoy lunch at your lodge and then partake in afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

This morning you have the opportunity to view this amazing area from above on a balloon safari, followed by a decadent bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra), or take an early morning game drive to witness the animals at dawn, followed by breakfast at the lodge. The Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's oldest and best-known park is famous for its annual wildebeest migration. The range of wildlife in this area is incredible - lion, cheetah, hyena, as well as more than 500 species of birds. It is one of the most photographed wildlife spectacles on earth. Enjoy another game drive in the afternoon, before spending the evening at leisure enjoying the facilities of the lodge. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before journeying to Ngorongoro with a brief visit to Olduvai Gorge, which is often referred to as 'The Cradle of Mankind' and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Continue to your lodge for lunch and enjoy an afternoon at leisure (200kms - approx 4 hrs). Dine and stay overnight at Ngongoro Sopa Lodge. This lodge enjoys an enviable position near an access road to the Conservation Area, offering wonderful views of the crater from the verandah area.

Ngorongoro
On the agenda today is a return to the amazing Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a half day crater tour, taking place either in the morning or the afternoon. In the region expect to see tribal herdsmen tending to their cattle, and the wonderful array of wildlife in this fertile basin. Also enjoy a trip to visit a local Masai village, to experience the traditional Masai culture and the way the Masai people live and work (time dependant). Spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the facilities of the lodge, relaxing in the swimming pool or in the gardens. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Ngorongoro - Arusha
Enjoy an early breakfast before you head to the airport (200kms - approx 3 hours) for your flight to Mombasa and your chosen beach hotel.
