Day
1
UK - Nairobi.
Depart the UK on your overnight flight to Nairobi.
Day
2
Nairobi - Aberdare National Park.
On arrival transfer to the Somak Safari Lounge, where you can freshen up and store any additional luggage before departing to the Outspan Hotel, (180kms approx 4hrs) a country hotel on the fringes of the mountainous Aberdare National Park. From here you transfer with an overnight bag, (your safari luggage will be stored for you at the Outspan Hotel for collection the following day) to Treetops Lodge in the Aberdare National Park. The focal point of this park is the Aberdare mountain range, a range spreading over 100 kilometres. The landscape of the park - combining deep ravines, forests and mountain streams, provide a stunning backdrop to the wildlife in the area - known for black rhino, black and white Colobus monkeys, lion and leopard. Your overnight accommodation will be at the famous Treetops Lodge that has recently undergone a refurbishment and guest rooms are now ensuite and have improved size and views. Guests can also enjoy the new menu and dining experience. Spend the afternoon at leisure watching the animals visit the waterhole from the observation deck.

Aberdare National Park - Lake Naivasha.
After an early morning transfer to the Outspan Hotel to collect your safari luggage continue to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru (180kms approx 4hrs), a shallow lake surrounded by scenic woodland, its resident flamingo population provides incredible and colourful photo opportunities. Take part in a game drive in Lake Nakuru followed by lunch. After lunch continue your journey to Lake Naivasha (80kms approx 2 hours).

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara.
Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel, and then enjoy your journey to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch (270kms approx 5.30hrs). Enjoy a later-afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight at the lodge. Expect to see elephants and buffalo on the perimeter of the grounds. As the lodge is set in the path of migrating wildebeest you will be surrounded by wildlife at peak times which is an amazing sight to behold.

Masai Mara.
The Masai Mara is one of the best known and the most visited reserves in Kenya. Used in numerous films - such as 'Out of Africa' - it is definitely a must see. The main attraction here - apart from 'The Big Five' - are animal migrations, which are an incredible sight to behold. Today either take a balloon safari over the Masai Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (extra charge) or enjoy a game drive, after which you will enjoy breakfast at the lodge. The rest of the morning is at leisure to relax at the tranquil lodge, enjoying another tasty lunch. In the late afternoon, experience another astounding game drive in this magnificent reserve before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara - Nairobi.
Enjoy a final breakfast in this amazing area, before travelling to Nairobi for your flight to Mombasa and your chosen beach hotel (300 kms - approx 6 hours). A safari Club lounge will be available whilst waiting for flight connections.
