Tsavo Aruba Safari

A wonderful combination of amazing wildlife and beautiful beaches. The Tsavo Aruba is an excellent way to experience a the wonders of Kenyan game drive in one of the oldest and best established national parks while still being able to enjoy a wonderful beach holiday on the magnificent Mombasa Coast.

Tsavo Aruba Safari Itinerary

Day 1

UK - Mombasa

Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Mombasa.

Day 2

Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park

You will be met on arrival in Mombasa and then depart on for Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for lunch (170kms - approx 3 hours). In the event of a delay clients will have packed lunch and arrive at lodges in the afternoon. Combined with Tsavo West, these two parks make up Kenya's largest safari parks, covering an area larger than Wales. One of the most impressive features of the park's landscape is the Yatta plateau, the largest lava flow in the world. Otherwise the park is formed of grass and scrublands, and is an important home to a large amount of wildlife. Much of the park is closed to visitors, allowing the animals to live in their natural habitat while at the same time living in the protection of the National Park. After enjoying an afternoon game drive, return to the lodge, where you will stay for 2 nights. The delightful lodge is a wonderful place to relax in between safaris - you can enjoy the swimming pool, take a nature walk, or simply sit on the viewing deck and listen to birdsong.

Day 3

Tsavo East National Park

Today you will enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives inside the national park. The park is well-known for its large numbers of elephants - often covered in dust, giving them a reddish hue, as well as impressive prides of lions. Buffalo and giraffe are also present, as well as smaller animals such as zebra, gazelle and waterbuck, and prolific birdlife. You will get some incredible wildlife viewing and some wonderful photo opportunities.

Day 4

Tsavo East National Park - Mombasa

After enjoying a final breakfast at the lodge, drive to Mombasa for your chosen beach hotel.

This safari can be booked with a 5 or 12 night stay at one of the beach hotels in Mombasa. 21 night prices are available on request. Single rooms are available. NB. No children under 7 years permitted
