Cosmos has launched its new Villas with Pools year round holidays programme covering departures from November 2011 to October 2012 introducing its new ‘Something Special’ category – villas which have WOW factor qualities!

The new programme offers a selection of 200 quality individual villas in fifteen destinations spread across the Mediterranean, Canary Islands and Florida.  A new destination in the programme is the Greek Island of Skiathos introducing the resorts of Kalivia and Skiathos Town.  Other new resorts include Estoi in the Algarve, Lourdas in Kefalonia, Aghios Nikolaos in Crete, Keri in Zante, Kayakoy in Turkey, Mijas Golf in the Costa del Sol and Arenal d’en Castell and S’Atalaya in Menorca.  .

Villa sizes range from one to six bedrooms and can be booked either as a villa package holiday (which includes villa accommodation and flight), or as villa accommodation only (excluding Gozo).  All packages offer villa holidays for 7 or 14 nights, return flights, 15 kg per person luggage allowance and the services of a Cosmos representative.  Villa packages start from £199 per adult or £165 per child per week (4 bedroom Villa Casa Pedra Grande in Alcantarilha, Algarve) with villa accommodation only prices from just £185 per villa per week (2 bedroom Villa Vista Playa in Cala Blanca, Menorca).

The new ‘Something Special’ category which offers that important WOW factor and perfect for cheap family holidays– whether due to its superior facilities, stunning location or exceptional décor and furnishings -  includes a free standard welcome pack for that extra added convenience.  Also new to this edition is the choice of three separate Welcome Packs – standard, intermediate or the deluxe pack. Standard packs lead in from £15 and include all the basic items. Deluxe packs leading in from £59 include those all important extras such as sparkling wine and even charcoal to get the first barbecue under way without the need to find the closest supermarket!

Pre-bookable private taxi transfers and competitively priced car hire are also available and upgrades from 15 kg to 20 kg luggage allowance is offered for just £1 per person if booked before 31 January 2012.  For Florida holidays a range of pre-bookable Disney tickets are also available.

To help agents identify villas which are suitable for specific clients, the brochure features a range of plugs to make them easily identifiable.  New plugs for this edition include ‘sea views’, ‘near the beach’, ‘near the resort centre’, ‘private & secluded’, ‘rustic & charming’ and ‘heated pool’.  Included again to meet popular demand are ‘neighbouring villas’ - situated close to each other for family or friends who want to holiday together but in separate accommodation; ‘large families’ – larger than average villas; and villas which are well positioned for ‘golf’ or have ‘air conditioning’. 

Villa packages are bookable in conjunction with a range of both charter and scheduled flights from a range of UK airports.  New departure airports offered in the programme include Newcastle and Bristol to Corfu and Zante, Birmingham to Kefalonia and Chania and Gatwick and Manchester to Skiathos.
