Equine lovers should head to South Africa this winter as it celebrates all things horse-related.
Held between November 30th and December 2nd, Equestria is a horse lover's heaven with an extravaganza of Christmas themed show jumping and displays for fans to enjoy.
Taking place in Johannesburg, visual treats will be provided by live performances as well as a specially-choreographed pantomime.
Furthermore, a large exhibition hall allows visitors to peruse stands from local equestrian traders who will be displaying their products or promoting companies and clubs.
Children should be well entertained by the event, as a petting zoo also features on the 2007 programme alongside a dynamic dog display.
Patron of the event Gary Player comments: "Equestria has won the hearts of its audience and I believe it is now firmly entrenched as a new South African festive season tradition."
Also happening in November, South Africa plays host to the New Zealand cricket team when the two compete in a number of events.
