Fans of Mozart who would like to hear his material in an exotic location could do a lot worse than go to the Mozart in the City series in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is considered to be one of the finest in the world and is to be joined by its former chief conductor, the renowned David Atherton.

Additionally, the much-loved British pianist Imogen Cooper is also to attend, making for a truly special display of music.

As well as Mozart pieces, material from Haydn will also be played.

Ms Cooper is to play Haydn's overture to the 1779 L'isola disbitata and Mozart's Piano Concerto in E flat K 449.

To end the event, the orchestra will play's Mozart's Symphony No 38 in D K 504.

While in Hong Kong, visitors should be sure to take a trip across the city's famous harbour on the Star Ferry.

The city also offers a plethora of sumptuous restaurants to indulge one's palate.
