Big Brother star Jade Goody is set to travel to India to try to make peace following her recent comments during Big Brother.

Her negative attitude towards fellow contestant Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has caused controversy in the UK and India and Jade is apparently planning to jet off to the country to repair the damage.

Travelling to the beautiful country of India - whether you are a celebrity or not - provides the perfect opportunity to get away from it all, with Goa's long, luxurious beaches particularly famed for relaxing getaways.

"I'm thinking about going over there because I've been invited. I don't know who by but they are high-up people," Jade said in an interview quoted by the Sun.

Goa's stunning coastline has long been a hot location for long-haul travellers looking for a bit of sun and luxury. The region offers over 60 miles of long, expansive beaches bordering the Arabian Sea.

The area was a popular route in the '60s and '70s on the 'hippy trail' through Asia and today retains its beautiful, unspoiled nature while being easily accessible with modern, comfortable hotels nearby.
