Barcelona and Madrid make a case for summer

This summer is to see the advent of a festival which will span two of Spain's greatest cities.

Summercase will make its debut on July 13th and 14th and will feature some of the world's most popular artists and bands.

It will be set in the beautiful Parc del Forum in Barcelona and the picturesque Boadilla del Monte in Madrid.

Over 50 acts will swap venues over the two days, so audiences in both cities can listen to all the bands and artists.

Among the line-up will be The Chemical Brothers, Jarvis Cocker, Mary Chain, LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, Arcade Fire, Scissor Sisters and the sultry songstress Lilly Allen.

Anyone looking for an excuse to take a trip to one of these fantastic Spanish cities need look no further.

Both cities are crammed with beautiful architecture, culture, shopping and a vibrant nightlife that can rarely be matched by any other European city.
