For those who regard Christmas Shopping as just a warm-up and the January Sales as a bonus, Dubai offers shopaholics jetting to the sun in late January to late February another chance to splash the cash.

The fifth Dubai Shopping Festival runs from January 24th to February 24th 2008, offering 32 days of shop-til-you-drop fun for those looking to grab some unusual bargains.

A wide range of cut price goods from around the world will be on offer, providing the chance to grab something not available in the shops back home.

Of course, the shopping comes on top of a wide range of other attractions which those coming to Dubai can experience.

As well as the fine warm weather to enjoy, in contrast with the winter back home, there is sea, sandy beaches and an even sandier inland area, which can be enjoyed with a desert safari and a camel ride.
