Following endorsement from celebrities such as Sir Richard Branson and supermodel Naomi Campbell, the animals of Kenya are also standing up to be counted.
A new census conducted by the Ol Pejeta Wildlife and Ecological Monitoring Department has revealed that wildlife numbers at the conservancy are on the increase.
An aerial survey taken from a low-flying aircraft has revealed that most species at the nature reserve are flourishing.
"Several factors have contributed to these results; in general most species have benefited from a more conducive environment and increased habitat brought about by the expansion of the former Sweetwaters Game Reserve to create the current Ol Pejeta Conservancy in early 2007," Nathan Gichohi, ecological monitoring manager on Ol Pejeta commented.
Kenya is a popular holiday destinations for tourists looking to enjoy safari trips on their holidays.
Animals that holidaymakers might spot while in Kenya include black rhino - an endangered species - and white rhino.
