Tucked away in lush semi-tropical gardens, this enchanting villa which neighbours Villa Quinta das Chamines makes the most of a rural and peaceful location. With its pretty blue-and-white exterior nestling into the greenery that surrounds it, it offers an excellent hideaway if you want to take your time enjoying the Algarve countryside and coast.

The pool area is an idyllic spot to slow down and soak up the serenity and scenery, and there is ample room on the sun terraces around the water to position your sunlounger just how you want. A patio set and barbecue are provided for long, lazy alfresco meals, although you will find an assortment of restaurants and bars just a few minutes drive away when you fancy savouring some local culinary delights.

Inside, the compact, beamed rooms contribute to the country-cottage atmosphere, with a welcoming, traditionally furnished sitting room decorated with rustic ornaments and set around an old-style hearth. Beamed ceilings and simple country furniture set the mood in the bedrooms, and the well-equipped kitchen provides everything required for a relaxing stay.

Although it is perfect for country lovers, the Quinta do Vale is far from being remote - the sandy beach and fish restaurants of Armação de Pera can be found less than four kilometres away.
