Estoi : Holiday Accommodation

For a slice of traditional Portugal, head to the sleepy inland village of Estoi. Clinging to a pretty hillside, this hidden gem oozes Portuguese charm. Tucked away amongst olive groves, almond and orange trees, it's home to two of the Algarve's most important historical heritage sites. Firstly, wander the cobbled road from the main square to delight on views of the town's rococ palace, built in the 18th century for the Conde de Carvalhal. Another must-see are the Milreu Roman ruins.
