Albir : Holiday Accommodation

Traditional Albir is perfect for families wanting a no-nonsense beach holiday in relaxing surroundings. Albir sits between Benidorm and Altea on a beautiful stretch of coast. A long-established resort, its highlight is its marvellous Blue Flag beach, an enticing 600 metre expanse which never seems to get overcrowded. Famously, the beach is covered with tiny white pebbles rather than sand, but don’t worry, they are comfortable under the feet and actually get less hot than a sandy beach. There is a nudist beach nearby too. If you fancy a little more excitement, the beach at Albir offers a big range of water sports including windsurfing, parasailing, water-skiing and ocean kayaking.

While you're here, make time to discover the local countryside, coast, walking trails and enchanting whitewashed villages. If you are lucky enough to take your Albir holiday at fiesta time, and there are several throughout the year, the town explodes into a riot of colour. In July every year there is a famous film festival with many international stars arriving.
