Benalmadena : Holiday Accommodation

Benalmadena is a modern resort in the Costa del Sol, just 19 kilometres from Malaga airport. It grew out of a sleepy inland village, but is now buzzing with activity and attractions. Long popular with the British, the daytime fun focuses on the new Moorish-style port area which features several small beaches. The marina has over one thousand moorings, and it’s easy to spend a day looking at the yachts. On a Benalmadena holiday you'll find a good variety of restaurants, shops and cocktail bars where you can tuck into some tasty tapas or enjoy a long, lazy supper before enjoying the town's lively nightspots, bars and casino. There are many English and Irish pubs too. The coast has several large beaches to choose from, all very clean, and feature some of the finest in Spain. The famous promenade is covered in mosaics from dozens of different local artists, the perfect spot for watching the world go by. The whitewashed old village of Benalmadena Pueblo, high on the hillside, is just a little way away, with many historical treasures. A cheap holiday to Benalmadena has a great mix of traditional and modern attractions, and the town retains a lot of charm.
