With beautiful beaches, stunning scenery, an excellent array of local activities and fine examples of ancient architecture, Side is a resort that has it all. It’s a perfect example of what a package holiday to Turkey can offer. Located 50km east of Antalya Airport in a dramatic headland setting, Side looks especially elegant at night when the well-preserved ruins are spectacularly lit.

The vibrant town has a great selection of friendly restaurants and buzzing bars. Coastal resorts in Turkey always provide opportunities to savour fresh seafood and mouth-watering traditional Turkish dishes. There are also a few clubs for those who want to party until the early hours.

The narrow streets of Side are lined with stalls and shops selling fine examples of leather, jewellery and handbags that make great souvenirs of your Turkey beach holiday. A short bus or taxi ride to Antalya will be rewarded by the chance to pick up some designer bargains at the various chic boutiques. Side backs on to the town of Manavgat, which has a magnificent market on Mondays that attracts visitors from all over the region.
