The modern tourist centre is opposite, identified by its flamboyant architecture. Dubai City is a haven for shoppers, providing the opportunity to pick up luxury foods and gold at great prices. Restaurants cater for every taste, along with traditional Arabic cuisine. The Dubai Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of the region, one of the fastest-expanding in the world.
