Villa Venus - Acharavi, Corfu, Greek Islands

A driveway leading from the main coastal road into Acharavi brings you to this cheerful, bougainvillea-decked bungalow, which benefits from a charming garden setting.

Next door to the Villa Victoria with which it shares its approach, the Venus looks out over well-tended lawns, which are decorated with tall palms and shrubs and enclosed by high walls and hedges that make it feel wonderfully private. A stone-paved terrace runs around the house providing spaces to relax in the sun and shade, and the good-sized pool with its terraced surrounds provides a further attractive place to unwind and soak up the Corfiot sunshine.

From the garden, patio doors lead into the spacious living room, which amply accommodates the sitting and dining areas and is dominated by a raftered ceiling and feature fireplace. Like the rest of the house, the bedrooms are furnished in traditional dark wood and the kitchen, separate to the living area, is modern and well equipped. For extra comfort and relaxation, the villa has a TV with limited English channels, and is air-conditioned.

An excellent choice for families and groups of all ages, the Venus is convenient for enjoying the beaches, bars and restaurants of vibrant Acharavi, which are a short drive or fairly easy walking distance from the door.

As the Venus is situated fairly close to a road, guests may experience some traffic noise, although this is usually not obtrusive to spoil holidays here.
