With its cheerful ochre-painted exterior and green shutters, this traditional villa enjoys the same secluded setting as its neighbour, the Malathra, making it perfect for an easygoing holiday spent winding down in privacy.

Overlooking the sea and Nissaki village below, reached to by a short 15 minute walkway along a pathway, these villas nestle amid lush cypress and olive groves at the far end of the Malathronies valley, virtually guaranteeing an oasis of peace. Unfortunately, the elevated location may make the Malathra and Dimitra unsuitable for less mobile guests. The beautiful gardens add to the sensation of being hidden from the world, although the shops and beaches of Nissaki are still only a comfortable walk and quick drive away. The lovely, good-sized pool is sited slightly behind the house on a raised terrace, so ensuring sunbathers can still enjoy the spectacular vistas, and there is an outdoor barbecue area perfect for preparing and enjoying al-fresco lunches and suppers.

Inside, the Dimitra offers simple but comfortable and well-maintained accommodation. Furnished in traditional Greek style, the spacious sitting room leads to a basic kitchen, which is equipped with a washing machine and microwave, and the two bedrooms are pleasant, with an ensuite bathroom connected to the double room. A lovely villa in old Corfiot style in a truly relaxing location.
