Set in a beautiful hillside location above Nissaki and designed around a central courtyard of perfumed lemon and orange trees, its interiors are beautifully complemented with tiled floors and furnished in quaint local style, making it feel cosy, bright and airy all at the same time.

The pleasant sitting room leads to an open-plan kitchen-diner and both the bedrooms have patio doors leading to the covered balcony and stunning views over the bay below. Four steps from here descend to the secluded pool terrace, which makes a fabulous place to sit and soak up the scenery and take dips in the good-sized pool. A barbecue is also supplied for preparing home-cooked al-fresco meals, and the local supermarket offers free deliveries - a definate bonus for that extra convenience.

With its fantastic outlook and proximity to Nissaki, this characterful villa is an ideal base for enjoying the countryside and beaches of this beautiful part of Corfu. Because it is reached by steps from its courtyard garden, the Elpida is unsuitable for less mobile guests. It is also situated fairly close to a road, so guests may experience some traffic noise, although this is usually not obtrusive enough to spoil holidays here.
