Divided into two separate, self-contained living areas, the Villa Esmeralda stands along a rural track, giving it an aura of seclusion that will appeal to guests wanting to immerse themselves in the Algarve countryside.

Boasting split-level lawned gardens distinguished by beautiful tall palms and cypress trees, the two-storey, west-facing villa has an impressive pool area with terraces which are bathed in sun all afternoon and evening. Bordering the house is a further, covered terrace, which makes a wonderful venue for eating al-fresco meals, and from here, patio doors lead to the ground floor accommodation, with its traditional, homely sitting room, modern kitchen and three bedrooms, one a twin room perfect for children. The separate first-floor accommodation is more contemporary, with a bright sitting room adjoining a small kitchen, two twin bedrooms and a sheltered terrace perfect for admiring the country views stretching to the distant rooftops of Guia.

Great for two families or sets of friends travelling together but wanting some independence, the Esmeralda offers easy access to nearby Guia with its famous chicken piri-piri restaurants, and the stunning sandy beaches around Galé. However, its many steps make it unsuitable for less mobile guests.
