The pretty Cortijo Martin radiates charm and stands on a rural hillside a few minutes drive from Frigiliana, affording spectacular views over a valley below and the sea in the distance.

Ideal for families in particular, the two-storey house sits in grounds dotted with avocado and olive trees which offer a good deal of privacy, allowing you to relax undistracted and undisturbed. The cosy and spacious rooms feature dashes of old-world charm such as raftered ceilings and, in the ground floor sitting-dining-kitchen area, a stone fireplace. Also on the lower ground floor is the master double bedroom and ensuite shower, whilst the remaining bedrooms and separate bathroom occupy the upper ground floor. The whole house is maintained to a high standard and well equipped with modern comforts, including satellite TV with limited English channels, a washing machine and DVD player.

Outside, the charm continues with a delightful terrace and swimming pool both of which enjoy breathtaking views over the olive-cloaked valley and sea. Along with the built-in barbecue for cooking al-fresco, the result is a wonderful spot for unwinding and soaking up the all-round tranquillity. When you want to venture out, Nerja and its beaches are eight kilometres away and there are bars and restaurants just over a kilometre down the road.
