For something different, head for the local golf courses, zoos and mangrove waterways, catch a boat to idyllic Marco Island or disappear to the nearby Everglades for an airboat ride through its wildlife-rich wetlands. At night, there's just as much to do, with countless wine bars, comedy clubs and pubs to while away the balmy evenings in.
