Our VIP home pick-up service is included up to 50 miles to your departure airport. Your driver will happily load and unload your luggage, and drive you to your departure terminal. At the close of your trip, you'll be welcomed by your driver in the arrivals hall and returned home again. A supplement is payable per mile over 50 miles.

Travel to Lyon and transfer to the MS Camargue for embarkation. After setting into your cabin, the crew will be introduced at a welcome cocktail. After dinner, an evening of entertainment awaits.

Lyon - Mâcon

After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure or join an optional guided tour of Lyon, France's delicious gastronomic capital, positioned on the Rhône and Saône rivers, with a UNESCO-listed medieval centre and impressive Roman ruins. Lyon's charm lies in its colourful riverfront buildings and impressive 2,000 years of history reflected in its centre. Discover medieval and renaissance architecture, take advantage of the superb shopping opportunities and sample some of the adventurous food that the city has to offer. After lunch, set sail for Mâcon and admire views of the charming Burgundy countryside. This evening, enjoy entertainment and dancing after dinner on board your ship.

Mâcon - Vienne

Today, enjoy an optional excursion to the famous Abbey of Cluny. The Benedictine Abbey was the nerve-centre of monastic reform in the Middle Ages and was the world's largest until St Peter's Basilica was rebuilt in Rome in the 16th-century. Although most of the Abbey stands in ruins, you still get a great sense of the size and glory of the Abbey. After lunch back on board, cruise towards Vienne.

Vienne - Arles

Overlooking the Rhône, the town of Vienne was once Rome's major wine port. With visible Gallo-Roman heritage and spectacular Roman ruins, this divine riverfront city is full of photo opportunities. This morning, enjoy free time to explore the Roman monuments and medieval churches or join the optional sightseeing tour. This afternoon, take the opportunity to relax on board as you cruise along the Rhône towards Arles and continue the journey through the night.

Arles - The Camargue

After breakfast, explore Arles on an optional tour. This stunning town has a spectacular Roman arena and is know to have inspired the painter, Van Gogh, with its enchanting light. Stroll the winding streets and see the 20,000-seater Les Arenes stadium which once hosted chariot and gladiator contests. From here, head into the Provençal countryside to learn how the region's prized olive oil is produced. This afternoon, perhaps join an optional excursion into the Camargue, the river delta of the Rhône. This nature reserve is host to the famous Camargue ponies and an incredible array of birdlife. An evening of traditional Provençal entertainment awaits you onboard tonight.

Arles - Avignon - Viviers

Set sail early this morning towards Avignon. A stunning medieval town once the home of Popes, Avignon is famed for its arched bridge immortalised in the well-known song. An optional sightseeing tour takes in the mighty City of Popes citadel, whose court once attracted Europe's artists and intellectuals, and the famous bridge, standing in its shadow. After lunch cruise towards Viviers, built on a hillside, the quaint town is a jumble of cobbled lanes and stone houses built around a 12th-century cathedral. Enjoy an optional tour exploring the maze-like streets and the views over the river.

Viviers - Tournon - Lyon

Admire the views as you cruise today. In the afternoon you'll arrive in the attractive village of Tournon, with its castle, monuments and spectacular views. An optional guided tour takes in the Castle-Museum of Tournon-sur-Rhône followed by a tasting of local wines and regional delicacies. Later, return to your ship for a gala dinner and evening. The ship will cruise through the night to Lyon.

Cabins on this ship

The cabins all offer guests the perfect view from their large picture window, and are very spacious and tastefully decorated with the option of double or single beds. An ensuite is provided with shower, W.C. and a hairdryer. For extra comfort central heating is available during the Winter season and air-conditioning for the Summer season.

For your entertainment a satellite tv and radio are provided for you to use at your leisure.

Life on board

Age Restriction

Reservations from minors shall not be accepted by the travel agency but must be made by the parents or other adults of more than 18 years of age with the necessary authorisations. Minors of under 18 years of age are not permitted to travel on board unaccompanied. They must be accompanied by parents or adults of more than 18 years of age. No alcoholic beverages shall be served to minors on board. Proof of the customer’s age may be requested by the ship’s personnel. 

Disabled Facilities

All passengers are required to be medically, physically and/or mentally fit to undertake a trip without endangering their life or the life of others. No medical services are offered aboard the ships. Any passenger with a physical or mental incapacity, limited capacity of mobility, having an illness requiring treatment or medical care, or pregnant women should inform the travel agent at the time of booking. No reservations can be accepted for passengers whose physical or mental condition is likely to render their participation in the cruise or in the vacation impossible or dangerous for themselves or others, or who require forms of care or assistance impossible to guarantee aboard ship, notably because of unsuitable infrastructure. Some suppliers (hoteliers, airlines and cruise companies, etc) may require a medical certificate confirming that the passenger is fit to travel or they may refuse to accept the booking if they feel that they will be unable to guarantee any assistance or treatment deemed necessary for the health and well-being of the passenger. Participation in the voyage and in excursions is subject to the condition of the passenger having sufficient mobility. If necessary, the disabled may be accompanied at their own expense to obtain the required assistance. All personal accidents, diversions or forced stopover costs disrupting the course of the cruise shall be at the liability of the passenger having concealed his unfitness to travel.

Dress Code

Casual and comfortable during the day. More elegant clothing may be worn in the evening. It is recommended that the wearing of footwear suitable for life aboard and for excursions with non-slip soles.

Smoking Policy

For the safety and comfort of all passengers, most ships do still allow smoking on board, but you will find this is restricted to designated areas around the ship.
