Our private home pick-up service is included up to 50 miles to your departure airport. Your driver will happily load and unload your luggage, and drive you to your departure terminal. At the close of your trip, you'll be welcomed by your driver in the arrivals hall and returned home again. A supplement is payable per mile over 50 miles.

Another 'Golden Ring' city, Yaroslavl is one of Russia's best-loved towns. This evening, enjoy a demonstration of Russian national costume with dinner.

Built to resemble a traditional Russian hamlet, Mandrogui is set amid pretty parkland on the banks of the Svir River and is peppered with pretty wooden buildings topped with colourful tiles and wood carvings. Enjoy the shops and artisan workshops before tucking into a tasty Russian treat - a succulent shashlik kebab. There will be a Russian language lesson in the afternoon and a film about the cruise before tonight’s Captains Dinner with a glass of champagne, followed by this evening’s talent show.

This morning, admire St Petersburg's historic centre on an included tour and take in highlights such as the Old Stock Exchange and Rostral Columns, the impressive Winter Palace façade, Peter & Paul Fortress, and Nevsky Prospect with its ornate onion-domed Church of the Resurrection and beautiful St Isaac Cathedral. After an included lunch in a city-centre restaurant, visit the world-famous Hermitage Museum, housed in the winter palace of Catherine the Great. One of the largest museums in the world and founded in 1764, its collection includes over 2.7 million items. Tonight, join the optional Russian folklore or ballet shows, or see St Petersburg by night.

Today, an optional excursion takes you to Pushkin and Pavlovsk, home to the luxurious summer palaces of former Russian royalty. There is a steep staircase from the Lower Deck to the Main Deck and there is no lift on the ship.

The MS Nikolay Chernyshevsky will be completely refurbished in Winter 2017.

The ms Chernishevsky is a comfortable five-deck vessel that cruises through the Russian Waterways. It was first launched in 1986 and is 129 metres longs, which means it provides a number of facilities for passengers.
