Beautiful and easy walking distance when docked to the sites. Staff amazing and so helpful and attentive.
Unfortunately this river cruise is owned by a French company and therefore was very intentive if you were french. The English were left on the back burner and not given the same standard of care, in my opinion, on the boat. We arrived early for check in and basicly sent away to eat else where without even asking if we would like to freshen up, use the toilet facilities etc when we had been travelling for over 8 hours. When we finished our holiday the Reception staff (French) didnt even look up to say good bye! Such a shame as if we had been given a good service on the boat this would have been a better review.
Venice was as beautiful as ever. Staying on the Michelangelo made the holiday, it was like being at a big house party, such fun. I thought it was very good value for money. The boat was moored in a very convenient position with wonderful views from our cabin. The ship's crew were lovely and worked very hard to make the holiday perfect.
