In response to ongoing travel restrictions and government advisements, we have made the thoughtful decision to suspend all operations through June 15, 2021.
Please note as UK restrictions start to ease, we do anticipate that some UK domestic holidays will be able to operate earlier than our International departures. As we are committed to your health & safety, our team will be in touch with guests travelling throughout the UK to discuss your options further.
Given these circumstances, Cosmos continues our program designed to give our travellers flexibility when considering their travel plans.
Through this program, Cosmos is now allowing guests with bookings on any suspended travel dates to move travel dates easily and without incurring cancellation fees, land or airline penalties*.
You are free to move your booking to any Globus family of brands (Globus, Cosmos or Avalon Waterways) holiday for any destination. If you are not ready to choose your new holiday, the full value paid to us will be provided via a Letter of Credit, redeemable for any future 2021 or 2022 departure, and is transferrable.
To help make moving your original holiday easy, the Peace of Mind Travel Plan for this period comes with an additional bonus credit. This bonus credit of up to £150 per person will be in addition to your Letter of Credit, redeemable for any future 2021 or 2022 holiday. Please note that the additional Avalon Bonus Credit cannot be applied to a Cosmos River Cruise:
Bonus credit of £150 when redeemed for an Avalon Waterways cruise
Bonus credit of £75 when redeemed for a Globus tour
Bonus credit of £75 when redeemed for a Cosmos tour/Cosmos River Cruise, or £40 for an Escapes by Globus tour
And for added flexibility for future travel plans outside of our suspended travel dates, we’re also offering a Peace of Mind Travel Plan, allowing movement of future 2021 and 2022 bookings to any other date, departure or brand up until your final payment date.
*Peace of Mind offer valid for suspended departures through June 15, 2021. Refund in the form of a Letter of Credit, redeemable for travel departing by December 31, 2022. The new booking bonus will be in addition to the Letter of Credit amount. Bonus Credits amounts are not transferrable. Only one booking bonus per person can be applied per reservation. Changes in airfare may apply, and the new booking is subject to any increase in holiday price for 2021 and 2022 travel. Offer may be withdrawn at any time and other restrictions may apply.
