Tipping is an expected element in China's tourism industry. Customarily every passenger pays on arrival to the guide and then it is distributed appropriately between the local guides and drivers. As a guideline we recommend 5- 7 USD per person per day.
Victoria Cruise ship will vary depending on departure date
Shore excursions are subject to change depending on local conditions. A detailed itinerary will be handed out on the vessel each day If you do not wish to take part in a shore excursion but you still wish to disembark the cruise ship, there is a mandatory port tax which must be paid by each customer. The port tax amount is approx. USD20-USD30 dollars per person however this amount can vary and for security reasons, it is not always possible to disembark at all ports of call.
Unforgettable locations as we expected but just a couple of hiccoughs in terms of rep service. A suggestion that the bullet train between Shanghai and Beijing would add some variety and probably be quicker!
